About Maddie Cakes

Rebekah LaCount: Maddie Cakes specializes in custom dairy free cakes, cupcakes, cookies, and more. We can also make egg free, nut free, and gluten free items. Being allergic to dairy, I personally understand how difficult it is to find delicious desserts. It’s pretty much near impossible. I have loved being in the kitchen ever since I can remember. Last year, I started a dairy free recipe blog (http://downwithdairy.blogspot.com) in hopes of helping others who have a dairy allergy and/or lactose intolerance see that cooking and baking diary free isn’t as difficult as many people might think. I just recently fell into decorating cakes for others. After taking several cake decorating classes, my daughter’s preschool teacher saw a picture of one that I made and wanted to buy one that looked just like it. The name Maddie Cakes was inspired by my daughter, Maddie.
